PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a representative section travel time prediction device capable of calculating a future representative section travel time between two points on a road more accurately than a future representative section travel time predicted by use of a point speed of a vehicle. PSOLUTION: This representative section travel time prediction device 1 calculates the representative section travel times between two points in a plurality of points of specific time, and produces downstream information and upstream information. Based on the downstream information and the upstream information, the representative section travel time prediction device 1 predicts a transition of correspondence relation between a future cumulative traffic amount and time in the upstream point, and a transition of correspondence relation between a future cumulative traffic amount and time in the downstream point, and predicts the representative section travel time from the upstream point to the downstream point in future time.
