PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink receptive fine particle which affords for rapid recording onto a diversified range of recording media while forming images without image disarrangement by suppressing the reduction of electrostatic property even if using various inks, and a material for recording using the ink receptive fine particle, a recording apparatus and an ink receptive fine particle housing cartridge.;SOLUTION: The ink receptive particle (the ink receptive fine particle) 100 includes a mother particle 101 containing a hydrophilic organic particle 101A having a ratio of a polar monomer to a total monomer constituent of 10-90 mol%, a hydrophobic organic particle 102A having a ratio of a polar monomer to a total monomer constituent of less than 10 mol% and not less than 0 mol% sticking to at least a part of the surface of a mother particle 101.
