PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make decreasable the number of operations and make easily executable correction in a short time by dragging a selected multinodal segment or dot string, and moving one or a plurality of the other multinodal segments or dot string adjacent to the selected multinodal segment or dot string to follow up according to a prescribed tension. SOLUTION: A ROI point formed by a multinodal segment or a connecting point (dot string) is set to plot a closed curve. The spaces of all ROI points forming the closed curve are set to equal spaces. An operator selects an arbitrary ROI point, that is, an operating point by a pointing device, and drags the same to move the operating point in a desired direction. When the operating point is moved, some of the adjacent points are moved together according to the travel amount of the operating point and the moving direction. Then, if the moving direction points to the inside, tension is increased according to the travel amount, and on the contrary, if it points to the outside, tension is decreased according to the travel amount so as to restrain the travel amount of the adjacent point.
