PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance evaluation accuracy of durability of a rotating body including a viscoelastic material. PSOLUTION: Stress analysis is performed with respect to a rotating body model of the rotating body including the viscoelastic material (step S101). Next, heating energy of a whole of the rotating body model is calculated from the stress and the strain of the rotating body model calculated by the stress analysis (step S102). The calculated heating energy is converted to temperature rise when the rotating body model is rotated for a predetermined time period (step S103), the heat of the rotating body model at the raised temperature is radiated for the predetermined time period, and temperature distribution of the rotating body model after radiation of the heat is calculated (step S104). With the usage of breaking strength or breaking strain of the rotating body calculated based on the temperature distribution of the rotating body model after radiation of the heat, safety factor distribution of the rotating body model is calculated (step S105), and durability of the rotating model is predicted (step S106).
