PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work progress monitoring device and method for monitoring the progress of a work using an information processor for automatically creating and transmitting a progress report to a center or the like, and for managing the progress of the work without considering the creating action of the progress report when performing a work using the information processor.;SOLUTION: This work progress monitoring device is provided with a table for preliminarily registering the process divisions of a work by making them correspond to command names, a means for extracting the corresponding process division by referring to the table based on an inputted command and a means for, when the extracted progress division is the first case, or has changed differently from the previous process division, creating and storing a report by acquiring and adding time information, or creating and transmitting it to a center.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
