PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which imparts resistance to pathogens to plants, a method of imparting resistance to pathogens to plants, a composition for promoting the growth of plants, and a method of promoting the growth of plants.;SOLUTION: The composition for imparting resistance to pathogens to plants and the composition for promoting the growth of plants comprise an antipathogen ingredient or an active ingredient for plant growth promotion derived from the anther tissue of tulip (Tulipa spp.), respectively.
