Provided is a method for separating and recovering trivalent and tetravalent actinides by a simple and low-cost method without using an organophosphorus compound. A tetravalent actinoid plutonium: Pu (IV) and trivalent using an extractant having a neutral multidentate active functional group, which is a hybrid donor organic compound having both oxygen and nitrogen donor atoms Actinium: Am (III), curium: Cm (III), which are actinoids, are selectively separated and recovered from trivalent lanthanoid: Ln (III) and the like.
