PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerosol composition which is excellent in drying characteristics and releasability and can reduce irritation to the skin. PSOLUTION: The aerosol composition contains 0.5-30 mass% pyroxylin as a film-forming agent, 0.2-15 mass% plasticizer, 10-50 mass% ester based solvent, 1-20 mass% lower alcohol, and a propellant. Since pyroxylin is easily soluble in the solvent, the aerosol composition sprayed on the skin can form a thin uniform film, exhibiting improved drying characteristics and releasability.
