A modified polymer complex, which is obtained by intermolecular and/or intramolecular crosslinking of a polymer complex via side chains thereof, wherein the polymer complex is a copolymer of a complex monomer meeting the following conditions (i) to (iii) and a comonomer expressed by the following general formula (1): R⁰²R⁰³═R⁰¹E (The definitions of R⁰¹, R⁰², R⁰³ and E are omitted.);(i) the complex monomer has two or more transition metal atoms;;(ii) the complex monomer has a polydentate ligand containing three or more coordinating atoms that are coordinately bonded to the transition metal atoms; and;(iii) the polydentate ligand has one or more polymerizable functional groups.
