DEVICE FOR RELOADING OF WHEEL EQUIPMENT IN A RIVER RO-RO PORT

The device is used in the shipbuilding industry in the construction of river ro-ro ships as well as in port construction, particularly in the construction of river ro-ro terminals. The structure is compact, simple and independent of the type of the vessels. The facility is easy to maintain. It comprises a transitional platform (1) mounted on a freely floating pontoon (2). One end of the platform (1) is connected with the riverside and the other is connected with the ship. The riverside end of the platform (1) is hinged to the end of a loading ramp (4), while the other end of the platform is free. The pontoon is supplied with a ballast system (3). In the case of unregulated coastal areas, the loading ramp (4) is built as a wedge-shaped wagon platform forcibly moving along crossable rails (8) placed coaxially with respect to it and dug into the bank.
