GREEN ROOFING SYSTEM WITH PLANTING ARRANGEMENT AND SEALING OF THE PLANTING SURFACE

Subject: green and plant planting on roofs and terraces; sealing of the planting surface.The planting surface is composed of: substrate of plants 1 composed of pumice, coconut fibres, stone powders, river sand, zeolite and vermin-compost; carpet 2 composed of knitted substrate of coconut fibres; filtering sheet 3 at the underside of the foregoing carpet; membrane sheet 4 with water storage cavities and drain holes for water excess; arrangement for sealing the horizontal planting surface and the perpendicular surfaces enclosing this last. Said sealing arrangement is composed of: the upper sealing layer of asphalt membrane 5 characterised by antiseptic protection properties; the lower sealing layer of asphalt membrane 7 composed of asphalt rubber blinded with woven polyester fabric; side strip of asphalt membrane with aluminium covering 6 or side tessellated strip 6; asphalt mixture 8 assisting the sticking of the lower sealing substrate of the asphalt membrane onto the concrete.
