THE METHOD OF MOUNTING OF THE AUXILIARY POWER UNIT ON A CATERPILLAR VEHICLE

The method of mounting the Auxiliary Power Unit (in a housing) on a caterpillar vehicle, fixed to a hull by means of brackets, extension jibs and switch-locks includes various aspects. Firstly, the APU (4) is mounted in the back part of the caterpillar vehicle’s hull (1) on the additional stand (3), in-between fuel barrels (25). Secondly, the APU has capacity forchange its position from upper (transport) position to lower (operational) position. Thirdly, the additional special stand (3) of the APU (4) is built of upper brackets (10) and the extension jibs (7) with lower brackets (11). Finally, the upper brackets (10) and the extension jibs (7) are permanently fixed to a cross-bar (6) mounted to the existing brackets (2) of the hull (1).
