The present invention relates to bulk heterojunction layer for light sensing and solar cells, the methods for producing the same and bi-layer bulk heterojunction organic solar cell. The offered solution-processed bulk heterojunction layer characterized in that fullerene derivative is selected from the group of the following soluble derivatives C61(CO2Et)2, C60, or C70. The method for producing the solution-processed bulk heterojunction layer, as well as bi-layer bulk heterojunction organic solar cell containing hydroxy gallium phthalocyanine is also disclosed.
