FUEL SUBSTITUTED CHEMICAL COMPOSITION BASED ON WOOD CHIPS AND FATTY ACIDS AND PROCESS FOR OBTAINING THE SAME.

Described is a fuel which may be used in all type of heaters: water heaters, vapour generator heaters, electric power generating heaters, which were initially designed for burning liquid fuels, either light or heavy, as well as in fixed or rotating furnaces, having filters for controlling the emission of gases to the atmosphere, where a novel process is presented for the manufacture thereof, which represents an alternate source for the use of said material, which results in substantial savings. The novel process for manufacturing fuel comprises a plurality of stages where the first step consists in collecting an aqueous solution of black liquor that contains a mixture of organic acids and black liquor, where water is separated therefrom by filters at room temperature; the following step comprises the recovery of a paste or slurry that contains a mixture rich in organic acids, the composition of these latter elements varying since contains oleic and linoleic acids as the more common acids, and linolenic, palmitic and stearic acids in reduced amounts; the process is followed by a step that consists in diluting the paste recovered from the previous step in a light fuel oil. The scope of the present invention subscribes to those inventions requiring the use of substitute fuels currently used in water heaters for generating electric power or cement furnaces.
