A bazooka-like applauding device is provided, characterized in that it has a closed cylindrical body, an inflation valve and a bag containing confetti. The bag is made of the same material as the rest of the applauding device and expels the confetti when the body of the  applauding device is pressed with sufficient force to break a joining part also made of plastic.
