WRWWO President Inaugurated the Ladies Running Room at Okha & Applauded Naaree Shakti

Smt. Tanuja Kansal, President of Western Railway Women's Welfare Organization (WRWWO), during the official tour of Rajkot Division, appreciated the dedicated and exemplary work undertaken by the women staff of Rajkot Division, especially the running staff who had kept thewheels of freight & goods trains running throug-hout the lockdown period. Smt. Kansal acknowledged the efforts by the Corona warriors, especially the women employees. She also lauded the courage & dedication of the female employees who worked hard in such testing times. In recognition of their good work and as a salute to their grit & spirit, Smt Kansal inaugurated the running room for women staff in the newly constructed Annexe Building at Okha Station. On this occasion, Smt. Kansal donated an automatic washing machine to the ladies running room on behalf of WRWWO, as a token of appreciation. This would benefit the female employees who can take appropriate rest after their tiring duty hours. WRWWO has done commendable welfare works and has served the diverse and innumerable welfare requirements of Western Railway Staff. It has also been generous in times of national calamities with its financial contributions and co-ordination in providing relief materials.
