The invention relates to a multifunction system for the control of lighting and air conditioning in a building. According to the invention, the system comprises several multifunction control modules (MCM) which are identical from the constructive point of view, each such control module (MCM) consisting of a control interface (2) connected to a continuous voltage supply source (3) comprising a communication interface (4), having a processor (5) wherein there is firmware implemented a data encoding-decoding unit (6), a lighting control unit (7) and an air conditioning control unit (8), which stores some configuration and working information within an internal memory (9), a group of digital inputs (16) whereto there are connected the following: some self-restoring buttons (17), some temperature sensors (18) and a device (19) for detecting the zero passage of the supply voltage, an input conditioning interface (22) and another group of digital inputs (20), a group of optocouplers (10), a group of digital outputs (11), as well as an output state displaying interface (23) and a group of light-emitting diodes (24).
