The invention relates to a process for obtaining a bio-compost used in agriculture. According to the invention, the process consists in that there are mixed pelts wastes with 15 % limed flesh, the mixture being washed with water at the temperature of 20...25°C, for 30...80 min, then being treated with 2...2.5% ammonium sulphate for 2...3.5 h and after mincing, there is obtained a homogenous mass which is hydrolyzed at the temperature of 30...37°C for 60 min, by adding 20...40 l water, 0.4...1% boric acid, 0.35...1% concentrated proteolytic enzyme product, afterwards the temperature is raised up to 75...80°C, there are added 3...4.5% of dipotassium phosphate and maintained for 1.5...3.5 h, afterwards, in the end there are admixed with 4...6 parts of chernozem in 1...2 parts of hide waste hydrolysate, there resulting a product having a content of 80...92% organic substance, 150...3000 mg K, Ca, Mg, Na/100 g compost and a pH value of 7...7.8.
