METHOD FOR GROWING PEA ON DARK CHESTNUT SOIL WITHOUT IRRIGATION IN SOUTHERN STEPPE OF UKRAINE

A method for growing pea on a dark chestnut soil without irrigation in the Southern Steppe of Ukraine includes basic and presowing soil cultivation, application of mineral fertilzers, sowing, crops cultivation, harvesting. The mineral fertilizers are applied with a rate of NP, sowing is carried out with density of 1.1 mln. seeds/ha of germinating seeds. Chemical protection of plants from weeds and pests is used, in particular single treatment with a herbicide at the stage 5-6 leaves of the pea and double treatment with an insecticide at the stages of budding and flowering of the pea.
