A method for rationalization of numbers control of lepidopterous maize pests wherein against the first generation threefold settling Trichogramma of the species Trichogramma evanescens Westw is carried out. The first settling is performed at the beginning of mass egg laying of pest females, the next ones - in the period of mass egg laying with interval of four days. Settling rate of Trichogramma is 40; 80 and 90 thousand of females per correspondingly. The Trichogramma is settled at nightfall starting from 22 o'clock and finishing not later than 5 o'clock. After the third settling twofold settling ectoparasite of lepidopterous larvae Habrobracon (Habrobracon hebetor Say.) is carried out. The first settling is performed at appearance of pest larvae of third age, the second one - with interval of 6-7 days. Settling rate of Habrobracon is 500 and 600 adult individuals per .
