METHOD FOR CORRECTING DISORDERED CARBOHYDRATE METABOLISM IN METABOLIC SYNDROME

A method for correcting the disordered carbohydrate metabolism in metabolic syndrome (MS) provides for the examination of the patients and diagnosis of MS and the disordered carbohydrate metabolism. The drugs correcting carbohydrate metabolism are used. The list of the drugs being administered is not limited to sulfanyl urea derivatives, biguanides, inhibitors of -glycosidases, and thiazolidine diones. The following drugs are also used: glinides, incretin mimetics, amilinomimetics, inhibitors of dipeptidyl-peptidase-4, double (/) agonists of nuclear peroxisomal proliferation-activation receptor, and antagonists of canabioid receptors type I.
