A method for selecting the pregnant patients with uterine scar prior to attempting the vaginal parturition with the assessment of candidate status at prepartum and intranatal stages comprises the detection of counterindications to the vaginal parturition after Cesarean section. Prepartum anamnestic and clinical factors are assessed, the combination of factors is analyzed, and the conclusion as to the candidate status of the pregnant patient is formulated.
