METHOD FOR INCREASING AMOUNT OF ZOOPLANKTON IN FISH PONDS

A method for increasing the amount of zooplankton in fish ponds includes applying mineral fertilizers along the water level. Potassium permanganate is used as the fertilizers. It is applied in an equivalent of 0.5-1.0 mg/l together with nitrogen-phosphorous fertilizers while bringing the nitrogen up to 2.0 mg/l and phosphorus up to 0.5 mg/l with the multipleness of application in each three days in the course of a decade at a water temperature of 18.8 °C - 27 °C.
