METHOD TO GROW MATTHIOLA LONGIPETALA (VENT.) DC (BRASSICACEAE BURNETT.) IN LABORATORY CONDITIONS

A method to grow Matthiola longipetala (Vent.) DC (Brassicaceae Burnett.) in laboratory conditions includes stages of vernalizing, germinating seeds, preparing soil, planting the seedlings into soil, cultivating the plants. The term of cold treatment of seeds is three days, the term of germinating seeds at constant lighting continues up to the appearance of two well developed seed leaves, a soil mixture for planting comprises two parts of fertile soil, two parts of sand, one part of a multipurpose peat mixture with pH 5.5-6.5; planting into soil takes place under conditions of the presence of well developed seed leaves.
