Pruning stump guardPalm trees facing the beetle.;The "beetle" beetle deposits its eggs in the stumps of the palm trees generated by the pruning of the same, so that the larvae that leave these eggs cause a very important deterioration in the palm trees. To date and to solve this problem we proceed to paint the stumps of the palm trees, so that this paint constitutes a barrier for insects. In practice, the paint comes off over time and the stump is unprotected. The invention consists in using as a protector a cover (1) of rigid plastic, formally and dimensionally suitable to cover the entire stump of the palm tree, said cover (1) counting as opposed to its mouth (2) with a hole (3) for passage of a fixing stud (4) provided with a head (6) that acts as a penetration limit stop and lateral harpoons (7) that favor its interlocking in the stump of the palm tree but that make it impossible to accidental decoupling. The protector is able to remain so indefinitely in time coupled to the stump of the palm tree, and is also susceptible to reuse after each pruning.
