Composite armor plate for protecting vehicles or buildings against missiles piercing shield with high kinetic energy, in which the plate composite armor presented in the state mounted a front side facing the direction of impact and a back side away from impact direction and contains at least one layer of ultra-hard elements, and the surfaces of the ultra-hard elements which are directed in the impact direction are formed projecting outwardly cone-shaped (1.1) or pyramidal (2.1), wherein the ultra-hard elements have a base body (1) of cylindrical shape with round or oval cross section in a plane parallel to the plane of the plate (PM).
