A method for the quantitative release of thermostable immunoligands able to bind to the Fc portion of immunoglobulin complexes in various sample matrixes, characterized by mixing the sample with a reagent compound that is able to adsorb or bind non-specifically to immunoglobulins and which has hydrophobic as well as negatively charged ends, and thereafter subjecting the sample to a heat treatment step followed by a cooling operation, wherein a buffer and protein are added before the heating step in order to compensate for variations in the sample for pH and protein content, respectively.
