The use of the atomic coordinates of H32, W33 and L94 as defined in Figure 9 to identify a potential inhibitor of a molecule comprising a TAD type E2 binding pocket of HPV comprising the steps of: a) the use of the atomic coordinates of H32, W33 and L94 as defined in Figure 9 to generate a three-dimensional structure of the molecule comprising a TAD type E2 binding pocket; b) using said 3-D structure to design or select said potential inhibitor; c) synthesizing said inhibitor; d) contacting said inhibitor with said molecule to determine the ability of said potential inhibitor to interact with said molecule.
