The invention relates to an all-terrain robot system comprising a multiple-articulation manoeuvring arm, and control and sensor elements which are removable while remaining functional. Said system comprises a platform which is mobile in a tractive manner by means of caterpillars, an on-board control system, a set of sensors for obtaining information about both the environment and the operation of the robot system in its entirety, and a multiple-articulation manoeuvring arm. Said arm enables the system to manoeuvre loads, such as dangerous objects or disaster casualties, with dexterity. As a result of the fact that the control system and the sensor system can be separated from the robot system, but maintain their functionality and communicate their instructions and information about the environment by means of radio links, the payload of the robot system can be increased if necessary by dismounting said control system and/or sensor system.
