The invention relates to members of the SSX family of genes, as well as theiruses. Also a part of the invention are peptides derivedfrom SSX molecules and the NY-ESO-1 molecule, which form complexes with HLAmolecules, leading to lysis of cells presenting thesecomplexes, by cytolytic T cells.
