A Christmas light string includes a plug; a first positive wire; a firstnegative wiretogether with the first positive wire and the plug forming a circuit;incandescent lightbulbs connected together along the first positive wire and the first negativewire toform a first loop; a rectifier having a positive input connected to the firstincandescentlight bulb via a second positive wire and a negative input connected to thelastincandescent light bulb via a second negative wire respectively; an endenlargementconnected to the positive input of the rectifier via the second positive wireand thenegative input of the rectifier via the second negative wire respectively; andLED bulbsforming a second loop between a positive output and a negative output of therectifier.An optimum illumination is rendered by mixing cold light with warm light.
