Disclosed is a roofing system including an anchored seam, the system includingaroof deck, roof assembly components disposed upwardly adjacent of the roofdeck, a firstwaterproofing membrane disposed upwardly adjacent of the roof assemblycomponents, asecond waterproofing membrane, a portion of which being disposed upwardlyadjacent ofthe first waterproofing membrane, the portion of the second waterproofingmembraneoverlapping a portion of the first waterproofing to create a seam regionbetween the firstwaterproofing membrane and the second waterproofing membrane, a terminationbarincluding a convexity away from the roof deck disposed upwardly adjacent ofthe secondwaterproofing membrane in the seam region, and a mechanical fastener extendingthrough the termination bar, the fastener being long enough to extend from thetermination bar, wherein the mechanical fastener and said termination baranchor theseam region to the roof deck.
