A help system for an application program for displaying help information on the user interface of a computer user station, in which the positioning of a selection instrument on a non-selectable interaction option is followed by the display of a piece of help information which has at least one piece of context information associated with the interaction option with activation advice for the interaction option and/or advice regarding the reason for the non-selectability of the interaction option, and also an application program and a computer installation are proposed.
