Identification method of the different types of bone tissue at subchondral level through high-resolution micro-computed tomography object of the present invention patent comprising, at least, the following stages: a first stage of obtaining a bone biopsy, where said biopsy has been obtained from the central region of the medial or lateral femoral condyle and in perpendicular direction to the load axis; a second stage of obtaining bone cross images through micro-computed tomography; a third stage of image treatment and image quantitative analysis of 2D cross images, where once the cross images transversal to the scanning plane have been obtained, a typical image treatment is carried out through typical operations; and a fourth mathematical adjustment stage through straight lines of different slope to identify the different bone regions where the morphological variables obtained through micro-computed tomography are used, such as the BAr/TAr variable (%) to carry out the adjustments.
