The optoelectronic sensor (10) comprises an optical element (20), which guides incident useful light (14a,14b,14c) on a useful light receptor of the two light receptors (22,24). An analysis unit is formed, which releases useful light signal by a comparison of the interfering light signal with the overlapping signal from the interfering light signal. The optical element is a diffractive optical element. An independent claim is also included for a receiving method for a useful light signal of a predetermined optical frequency range.
