The valve (10) has a housing (11) and a flap (14) fastened to a flap shaft (15) that serves for controlling a passage of a gaseous or liquid medium. The flap has flap positions (30, 40) which include fastening positions (31) in areas present at a distance to the flap shaft, where the flap positions are firmly connected with each other at the fastening positions. The fastening positions are provided at a radial distance from a longitudinal axis of the flap shaft. The flap positions are firmly connected with each other on a side of a longitudinal axis of the shaft by the fastening positions.
