The invention relates to a method and a device for verifying the calibration (CV process) of an analyzer (1) that is used to determine various measurement parameters in bodily fluids. The device according to the invention comprises the following components: - a cassette (21) with a plurality of containers (22) that can be fed to an input system (3) of the analyzer (1), each of said containers containing a measurement fluid having previously known measurement parameter values; - a memory unit (23) assigned to the cassette (21) for storing the measurement parameter values of the measurement fluids and data relevant for the CV process of the analyzer (1) to be checked; - a docking or receptacle area (20) on/in the analyzer (1) for holding the cassette (21), with a data connection (24) for reading out the memory unit (23); - an evaluation unit (25), preferably disposed in the analyzer (1), for evaluating the measurement values measured by the analyzer; and - an output device (26) for outputting an evaluation protocol.
