A seawater desulfation treatment apparatus (10) comprises a flue gas desulfurization absorption column (20) for washing an exhaust gas (13), an oxidation tank (21) for recovering the quality of a sulfur component absorbed seawater (16A) discharged from the flue gas desulfurization absorption column (20), a seawater supply line (L1) for supplying a diluting seawater (15A) into the flue gas desulfurization absorption column (20), a dilution mixing tank (21A) that is provided on the inlet side of the oxidation tank (21) and functions to mix a first diluting seawater (15B) with the sulfur component absorbed seawater (16A) discharged from the flue gas desulfurization absorption column, a dilution mixing tank (21C) that is provided on the outlet side of the oxidation tank (21) and functions to mix a second diluting seawater (15C) with the sulfur component absorbed seawater (16C) located on the outlet of the oxidation tank, a sulfur component absorbed seawater discharge line (L3) that discharges the sulfur component absorbed seawater (16A) discharged from the flue gas desulfurization absorption column to the dilution mixing tank (21A) located at the inlet of the oxidation tank, a first diluting seawater supply line (L4) that supplies the first diluting seawater (15B) into the dilution mixing tank (21A) located at the inlet of the oxidation tank, and a second diluting seawater supply line (L5) that supplies the second diluting seawater (15C) into the dilution mixing tank (21C) located at the outlet of the oxidation tank.
