A manually-locking linearly-actuated hand valve (100) is provided according to the invention. The hand valve (100) includes a valve body (102) including a valve chamber (130), a linearly-actuated valve member (140) located within the valve chamber (130) and configured to move linearly between two or more valve member positions. The linearly-actuated valve member (140) includes one or more stop structures (144) formed at predetermined locations. The hand valve (100) further includes a manual lock key (120) configured to internally engage the one or more stop structures (144) of the linearly-actuated valve member (140) and therefore physically block movement of the linearly-actuated valve member (140) in one or more predetermined lock positions of the two or more valve member positions.
