Optical scanner module with two optical sensors, scanner and corresponding control method

The scanner has a main optical sensor (120) i.e. charge-coupled device sensor, to visualize a zone corresponding to a line of a document (10). A processing and controlling element (30) sends a command to a displacement unit (20) e.g. carriage type displacement unit, based on information relative to absence nature of signal or black and white or color of another line. The displacement unit is adopted such that relative displacement speed is maximum, intermediate and minimum, when the nature of the latter line is absence of signal, black and white, and color, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a scanner.
