The textile (10) has a fabric (12) comprising electrically conductive texture yarns (24, 30) running in two directions. Electrically conductive connecting yarns (14, 15) are provided for connecting the texture yarns to a current source or an electric circuit, are integrated in the fabric over a portion of its length according to weaving technology and electrically contact the texture yarns. The connecting yarns are formed by electrically conductive floating yarns that are sectionally integrated in the fabric.
