The method involves sending a request for receiving a main data stream of an upper flow of a selected target channel. The main data stream of the target channel is received and decoded. The main data stream of the target channel is visualized on a display screen (6) at the place of a main data stream of a source channel. A visualization element of a secondary data stream of the target channel is enlarged at the screen between a selection instant of the target channel and a visualization instant of the main data stream of the target channel on the screen. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a TV receiving device adapted for zapping from a source channel to a target channel (2) a computer program comprising instructions to execute a method for zapping from a source channel to a target channel.
