The device (14) has a supplying element (18) including a rectifier in its inner side. The rectifier is arranged perpendicular to a direction of flow of test aerosol. The supplying element is movable perpendicular to its longitudinal direction by a traversing device (15). The rectifier is arranged parallel to an elongated outlet cross-section (20) of the supplying element. The rectifier is arranged between a pre-chamber and the supplying element and separates the pre-chamber and the supplying element from each other. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a gas flow filtering device comprising a test aerosol supplying device (2) a method for supplying test aerosol to determine degree of separation or to execute a leakage test in a filter arrangement that is utilized for separation of aerosols and/or dusts from a gas flow.
