The programming device has a graphical user interface (GNP) for displaying multiple automation components (AK1 to AK5). The programming device is arranged at user side for selecting an automation component, the user inputs a desired property of the communication link (KV1,KV2). The programming device is configured for determining, displaying or highlighting the automation components.
