PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing relaxation effect are provided to easily perform an optimum relaxation effect by applying various stimuli to user through a stimulus module.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for providing relaxation effect includes a measuring module(310), a display module(390), a stimulus module(330), a bio feedback module(370), a control part(350), and a database(360). The measuring module measures a present respiration state of user. The display module provides the present respiration state and a target respiration state to the user. The stimulus module provides stimulus about at least one of five senses of the user. The bio feedback module provides a reaching degree of the present respiration state about the target respiration state to the user. The control part controls each compositional element.
