A KEYPAD ARRAY AND ITS INPUTING METHOD OF MOBILE PHONE FOR THAI LANGUAGE

PURPOSE: A keypad array and an inputting method of a mobile phone for Thai language are provided to enable a user to input texts by providing uniform intuition and minimizing the number of inputting times. CONSTITUTION: Vowels are set on a selective keypad array(K2), and are assigned to the regions of key buttons(B). Semi-vowels are allocated to key buttons adjacent to the vowel regions. In the keypad array, the key buttons except the vowels configure consonants. Based on the similarity in the morphological features of consonant characters, consonants allocated to the consonants are allocated.
