PURPOSE: A dye sensitized solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve light absorption rate of the dye by forming a light absorption layer arranging a plurality of nano tubes or bridge nano tube type metal oxide in one direction as a thin film. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor electrode(100) includes a first transparent substrate(101) and a light absorption layer(102) formed in one side of the first transparent substrate. An opposite electrode(110) is separately arranged to face the semiconductor electrode and includes a second transparent substrate(111) and a catalyst layer(112) to face the light absorption layer on the second transparent substrate. An electrolyte layer(103) is interposed between the semiconductor electrode and the opposite electrode. The light absorption layer includes a plurality of metal oxides(102a) with a nano tube or bridge nano tube type and the dye(102b). The plurality of metal oxides are arranged in a smoothing surface of a first transparent substrate vertically.
