PURPOSE: An electrodeless lighting device and a control method thereof are provided to control light according to an illuminated space by varying the output of a high frequency oscillator.;CONSTITUTION: In a device, a detecting apparatus(350) senses movement of an illumination apparatus. A MICOM(300) receives a detected signal from the detecting apparatus. An output of a high-frequency oscillator(200) is varied by the MICOM. A lamp(260) emits light by a high frequency supplied from the high-frequency oscillator. The MICOM receives the sensed signal from the detecting apparatus at a predetermined time. The MICOM compares the signal received with the set signal and controls an output of the high-frequency oscillator.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
