SIDE-MOUNTED LED MODULE OF VEHICLE REARWARD COMBINATION LAMP, CAPABLE OF IMPLEMENTING COMPACT REFLECTOR DESIGN

PURPOSE: A side-mounted LED module of a vehicle rearward combination lamp is provided to reduce fabrication cost by reducing the number of components.;CONSTITUTION: A vehicle lamp comprises a thermal conductivity module(21) and a printed circuit board(41). The thermal conductivity module is inserted in a housing(20) along a vertical axis. The printed circuit board contacts the thermal conductivity module by being vertically located to the vertical axis. The vehicle lamp comprises at least one LED(44A,44B,44C) and a reflector(13). At least one LED is located on the printed circuit board, and is electrically controlled through the printed circuit board. At least one LED emits a diffused beam in parallel with the vertical axis. The reflector accommodates the diffused beam. The reflector reflects a collimated beam vertically to the vertical axis. The curve of the reflector collimates the diffused beam. Facets of the reflector switch the angle of the collimated beam to a predetermined angle range.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
