METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING NETWORK BASE ON HMIPV6

PURPOSE: A network management method based on the HMIPv6(Hierarchy Mobile Internet Protocol version6) and an apparatus thereof are provided to quickly generate the sole new link temporary address by verifying and securing the uniqueness of the interface identifier of mobile terminals. CONSTITUTION: An MAP(Mobile Anchor Point) verifies the uniqueness of an interface identifier of a mobile terminal. The MAP transmits a message for securing the uniqueness of the interface identifier to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal generates an LCoA(on-Link Care of Address) through the prefix information of an access router and the interface identifier of the mobile terminal(S230). The mobile terminal transmits a BU(Binding Update) message fro mapping the RCoA(Regional Care-of-Address) of the mobile terminal and the link temporary address to the MAP(S250).
